Duplicate Stories On Digg Front Page

Today I looked on the front page and was dismayed by what I saw. Two stories covering “Pat Robertson Denouncing Rush Limbaugh” appeared on the front page within ten minutes of each other. I was unclear whether Digg’s algorithm was broken or the administrators let it slip through.
The stories appear to be a paraphrase of each other with slight differences.

This is all too common and I think the second digger blatantly ignores the original digg. It makes me very frustrated as it pushes better articles further down. Just another reason digg is headed for a fall.
