Glen Rice Jr Spotlight
Glen Rice Jr is not quite as good as his sharpshooting NBA star father. But he has the size and close shooting ability to make it as a wing at a good school like Georgia Tech. He was highly recruited and picked Georgia Tech over Miami, and Florida State. He played at George Walton in High School in Georgia and was happy with his decision to go with GT.
“Georgia Tech was my top choice all along, there wasn’t really anybody else really close,” Rice Jr said over the telephone from Orlando. “It’s close to home, great academics, and I really feel like I could be part of something great with the rest of the [incoming recruiting class].”
Georgia Tech could definitely use a boost as they are at the bottom of the ACC at 1-8. Rice Jr will have to sit out his this year as a redshirt freshman.
